The 2024-25 Sunday School program will start on Sunday, September 8th. The school year will go until May 2025.  See Mat. Debra to register or for more information.

Saturday, September 9th at 5:00 p.m.

We will meet in the lawn area next to the church. Please bring all pets on leashes (or cages, if needed), lawn chairs and treats. Invite your friends and neighbors to bring their pets as well!

Our parish, once again, is participating in the annual March for Life Chicago. This wonderful witness to the sanctity of all life will take place in Federal Plaza at 2:00pm. Bishop PAUL will once again speak at this event alongside other esteemed guests. The March usually wraps up by 4:00pm.

This year our parish has chartered a school bus to encourage participation. If you would like to ride with us, please email Fr. Herman soon. We need an accurate count as the bus holds 45 people. Friends and family members are welcome to ride with us. The bus will depart our church at 12:30pm and return around 5:30pm. If you are interested in sponsoring the cost of the bus, please contact Fr. Herman.

On Friday, October 26th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., our youth group will meet up with St. Luke's youth group (at 9300 W 107 th St, Palos Hills) for a prayer service to the Theotokos with fellowship to follow.

We will review our duties and then head to Giordano’s for lunch. See Fr. Herman to attend!

It is time for us once again to support the OCCA Christmas Gift Drive.This will be the 6thyear our parish family will be participating and bringing joy to the lives of children living in foster homes.Over the last 5 years we have provided 155 children with this joy and we have the ability to provide another 34 with the same joy once again. Let's make this another successful gift drive for the children this year! Please see Bonnie Kriescher after Liturgy in the fellowship hall to choose a child for this year's drive.

Steven Christoforou, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries (GOA), is the featured speaker. Youth are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend!

The Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 9th, following Liturgy. Positions open for nomination (2 Years): President, Financial Secretary, Recording Secretary, Community Liaison & Education Liaison. We will also elect one lay delegate to the Diocesan Assembly (October) and Auditors.

All liturgical services are cancelled for March 7th due to a gas leak inside the church building.
